Relay Resources Awarded M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust Grant

Relay Resources has been awarded a grant, totaling $300,500 distributed over three years, from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust to help expand our work advancing disability inclusion across the Pacific Northwest.

The grant will support the continued growth of Relay's Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE), abilIT programs and DisabilityNext™, expanding career opportunities for disabled people while advancing workplace disability inclusion throughout the region.

Murdock Charitable Trust for supporting Relay Resources with a grant that will help advance our disability inclusion efforts over the next three years," said Nadja Sailesman, Vice President of Disability Inclusion. "The Trust has a long history of helping nonprofit organizations across the Pacific Northwest expand their reach and impact, and we're excited to continue building workplaces and communities where all disabled people belong. Founded in 1975, the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust partners with nonprofit organizations throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington by providing grants and other resources to strengthen their long-term impact. The Trust supports organizations working in civic engagement and community services, health and environmental stewardship, scientific research, and other fields that benefit the region.

In a letter announcing the award, M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust CEO Romanita Hairston shared, "We extend our congratulations and best wishes as you seek to strengthen and implement the ideals and mission of Relay Resources."

The funding will strengthen Relay's mission to create more opportunities for disabled people through employment, training, and workplace innovation.
