Relay Team Members Recognized at PDX People Awards

Team Relay showed up strong at the PDX People Awards, with three employees recognized for their outstanding contributions. Join us in celebrating their achievements.

This summer, the PDX People Quarterly Awards Luncheon brought together airport partners and team members at Portland International Airport (PDX) headquarters to celebrate exceptional service, teamwork, and leadership across the PDX community.

We’re so excited to celebrate the three outstanding Relay Resources team members who were recognized for their contributions:

• Dainya Morgan – Support Services Award winner, recognized for consistently going above and beyond to ensure high standards and reliability across their assignments.
  
  

• Charity Fenley – Honored as part of the Team Award for their collaborative spirit and support during high-volume operations, working closely with Port of Portland colleagues.
  
  
• Ash Torgerson – Named this quarter’s Safety Champion for demonstrating a strong commitment to workplace safety and proactive problem-solving on site.

These three excellent performers represent all of the quality work being done by Relay Resources employees. We've had a partnership with PDX for many years and are thankful for the wonderful airport employees who keep the Port of Portland operating smoothly! 

This was not the only good news to come from PDX, however. A few weeks later, an airport traveler named Tucker DeGraffenreid told us that his autistic son had been playing in the Tillamook bus play area in Concourse E when he dropped his stuffed bear in a hard-to-reach space. Relay Resources team member Efrenia rushed to the rescue and was able to unlock a door to access the bear in time for the family to make their flight. Tucker shared this story with us via a LinkedIn post, and we think it's a great snapshot of what it's like to work at Relay Resources – and another example of how our team works. 

Our partnership with the Portland airport has been going for nearly 30 years, and PDX itself has taken great strides to make accessibility and inclusivity top priorities with their latest remodel. We want to thank PDX for their partnership in disability inclusion employment, and our employees for their hard work and customer satisfaction.
