When workplaces are designed for accessibility, flexibility, and authenticity, people are better able to thrive, and organizations are stronger for it.

More than 1 billion people worldwide are disabled, and for most, the internet is essential for working, learning, accessing services, building community, and navigating daily life. Yet digital spaces are still too often designed without disabled people in mind, excluding people from fully participating online.

Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), observed each May, is dedicated to raising awareness around digital access and encouraging organizations to build more inclusive online experiences from the start.

To support this work, we created a Digital Accessibility Checklist with practical steps organizations can take to make websites, documents, and digital content more accessible for everyone.
